An expired card, from decline to paid

Illustrative email workflow with invented customer data. Actual sending requires account eligibility and completed activation checks.

  1. Day 0 · 6:02 am

    $89 renewal declines

Reason: card expired. Stripe schedules its retries and may try to update the card on its own. RenewalWin waits.

  2. Day 2 · 10:15 am · still unpaid

Email · from Ironworks Gym's sender

Ironworks Gym: your membership renewal needs attention. Review your payment on the hosted invoice page: [link]

Sent only after the configured eligibility and timing checks pass.

  3. Day 2 · 10:22 am

    $89 payment observed

Payment is observed after the customer follows the hosted invoice link. Remaining reminders stop when the payment is reconciled.

Two brands, deliberately

The customer hears from the business. The business hears from you.

Client Recovery is email-only. Emails use each business’s connected sender identity. The monthly report carries your agency's logo and colours. RenewalWin appears on neither unless you want it to.

Where it fits

When payments stay unpaid, RenewalWin coordinates the follow-up.

Stripe and HighLevel already do real work on a failed renewal. RenewalWin doesn't replace any of it. It picks up what is still unpaid after they've run, across every client location, and brings the results into one agency view.

Stripe
  • Attempts the charge and returns a decline reason
  • Retries on its own schedule
  • Can update expired cards automatically through participating card networks
  • Can email the customer about a failed payment
  • Hosts the page where a new card is entered
HighLevel
  • Holds the subscription, the customer record and their DND status
  • Retry settings for the providers it supports, and an invoice on failure
  • Email from each business’s connected sender identity
RenewalWin
  • Watches every connected location for renewals that are still unpaid
  • Times outreach around scheduled retries and each location's quiet hours
  • Sends email through the business’s connected sender, with reviewed wording for the case
  • Stops when the payment lands, and records how it landed
  • One agency view across locations, and a report per client

RenewalWin does not charge the customer's card. The customer completes payment on Stripe's hosted invoice page.

Free audit

The audit reads up to 90 days across the businesses you choose, then stops. No sequences turn on. Nothing is sent. What you get is every unresolved renewal, per business, in your branding, with filters you can print or share.

Pricing

A company component, plus a business component

Client Recovery’s saved Marketplace offer is $29 per company plus $12 per business per month in USD, with no trial. It is separate from Agency Recovery. General paid activation remains unavailable pending billing and operational acceptance.

Client Recovery

$29/company/mo + $12/business/mo

Saved offer · no trial

Included

  • Failed-renewal detection across every enabled client account, Stripe
  • Email-only sequences, editable per business, matched to the decline reason
  • Timing around scheduled retries; quiet hours, frequency caps and DND enforced
  • Tracked pay and update-card links to Stripe's hosted invoice page
  • Agency dashboard across accounts; white-label monthly report per client
  • The free 90-day audit, for every connected account

Company and business components. The saved offer has a $29 monthly company component and a $12 monthly business component. Component activation, billing counts and cancellation behavior remain under provider review. Turning recovery on or off does not establish a charge or cancellation.

Provider usage and taxes. Client Recovery uses email through the business’s connected provider. Provider usage and applicable taxes are separate from the software offer.

Availability. The free audit is separate from paid recovery. Client Recovery has no trial in its saved offer. Paid activation requires completed billing and operational acceptance.

Not Agency Recovery. That product tracks the SaaS renewals your clients owe your agency and follows up by email. Its planned offer is $147 per company per month; its proposed trial and optional SMS remain subject to acceptance. Compare both.

If you resell it

Whether to charge your clients for recovery, and what, is your decision. The white-label report is built so you can: it shows each client, every month under your name, what was paid through a tracked recovery link and what is still unpaid.

For illustration, one company and five billed businesses would total $29 + 5 × $12 = $89 per month before taxes and usage. This calculation does not confirm which components are billable.

Review the available Marketplace offer and supported billing behavior before setting any resale price.

Questions

Does the audit send anything to my clients or their customers?

No. The audit is read-only. Client Recovery email requires eligible accounts, completed activation checks and enabled recovery. Running an audit does not enable outreach.

Does this need SaaS mode?

No. Client Payment Recovery works for any agency whose clients take recurring payments through HighLevel with Stripe. SaaS mode is only relevant to Agency Recovery, a separate, email-based product with its own subscription.

How is this different from Stripe's and HighLevel's retries?

Retries and automatic card updates catch a share of failures on their own, and RenewalWin waits for them. Its job is what's left: the renewals still unpaid after those have run. It follows up from the business's own brand, across every location at once, and shows you the result in one place.

Does RenewalWin charge my customers' cards?

No. RenewalWin sends a link to Stripe's hosted invoice page; the customer enters their own card there.

Will messages come from my brand or yours?

Client Recovery emails use the business’s connected sender identity. RenewalWin’s own optional account SMS program is separate; its consent does not authorize another business to send messages.

Which payment providers are supported?

Stripe at launch. Other providers are on the roadmap; we don't publish dates.

Does this work for failed signups too?

No — RenewalWin recovers renewals. HighLevel won't create a subscription whose first charge declines, so a failed signup never becomes a subscription to recover. Renewals are where the recurring revenue leaks.

What are the saved Client Recovery prices?

The saved offer is $29 per company plus $12 per business per month, with no trial. Billing counts, component activation and cancellation behavior remain under review before general paid activation. Provider email usage and taxes are additional.

Is there a free trial?

Client Recovery’s saved offer has no trial. Agency Recovery’s proposed 30-day trial remains subject to acceptance. The free read-only audit is separate from both paid offers.

Can a business owner use the standalone app?

Client Recovery is the standalone business app. Access depends on the supported company and business installation flow and the permissions available to the installer. This does not establish paid eligibility.
